When Kate Whouley asked me to redesign her website, she said she wanted “something different, something original” — which is my favorite thing to hear when I first meet a client! We brainstormed ideas for site backgrounds, and in the end we went with a home page that showcases a cozy photo of her home office. I love its rich colors, the bookcase, the desk, the armchair, and that burgundy ottoman. It looks so comfy! Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words, and in this case I think this photo conveys Kate’s warmth perfectly!
