Julie Carrick Dalton’s debut novel, Waiting for the Night Song, is moody and mysterious. When I saw the cover, I thought it was a great fit for the book, and I knew the image would make a beautiful background. The problem is, sometimes when you take the cover colors/artwork for the background, the book blends in too much. It took a bunch of tries to get everything aligned and shaded just right so that both the cover and the rotating testimonials pop on the page, but now I think it’s perfect. I love the pinks and purples!
