I’ve done a lot of work for my kids’ school parent group, MLK Friends, including designing all their logos, t-shirts, posters, bags, mugs, gifts, etc. — in addition to serving as the school PTO’s Fundraising Chair for the past few years. Fundraising is not something I EVER thought I would do, but it actually utilizes many of my skills, including graphic design, writing, communication, organization, and networking. So after designing all of the group’s materials, designing the group’s website really felt long overdue.

This site is designed completely in WordPress, and it features a colorful mural that captures some of the spirit of our school’s namesake, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
