Shadra is a prolific artist and children’s book illustrator, who is also now penning her own children’s books. We wanted her site to showcase all the books she has illustrated, as well as her artwork. I used a full page rotating gallery on the Home page, with a wonderful image of her working in her office, along with some of her art. Below it, I included a panel for her newest book, as well as a book carousel and an area for her latest Blog/News posts. I love the lightness of this site, it’s playful and whimsical but still completely professional, and it really captures Shadra’s vibe.
